The lowest advertised prices in the market are almost always “meeting-point” packages — you make your own way to a desert meeting point, with no pickup included. Once free hotel pickup is added, the price naturally sits higher. This is the single most common source of confusion when comparing prices between operators, so always check this specific detail before assuming one quote is cheaper than another for the same experience.
Roughly what to expect, by tier (with pickup included):
- Budget/standard evening safari: the entry-level tier — dune bashing, camel ride, live entertainment, and a BBQ buffet dinner at a standard camp
- Mid-tier/quality camp: the same format with better seating and a larger buffet spread
- VIP/private: a private vehicle, private camp seating, and a premium dining setup — priced well above the standard tier because the vehicle and seating aren’t shared with other guests
